Anne-Sophie & Sébastien Boever tend in the Montagne de Reims Nature Park a 4.9 hectares.

Their youngest daughter Alix, who will take over the family business with her two sisters, encouraged the sustainable vine growers to get the HVE 3 certification (High Environmental Value) for the winery.

All year long, come sun, rain, wine or frost, the passionate and nature-loving couple take the utmost care over the vines and grapes as they grow, from the first bud to the harvest.

Composed mainly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the stars of the show. The vineyard lies around Louvois in the villages of Bouzy, Aÿ-Champagne, Tours-sur-Marne, listed as Grand Cru, Avenay-Val-d’Or and Fontaine-sur-Aÿ.

History

The Boever family's winemaking legacy began in Louvois, deep in the Montagne de Reims Nature Park, a few months after World War II ended.
Paulette and Gaston Boever decided to leave their careers as an accountant and vineyard labourer behind and go into the wine trade together.

Paulette was the visionary with a nose for marketing who came up with the Les Dames de France brand, in tribute to King Louis XV's daughters who owned the breath-taking Château de Louvois built by Michel Le Tellier, Louis XIV's minister at the time. She left the brand to her three sons.

When they retired, the "elders" passed the winery's baton to their three sons, André, Jacques and Pierre, who each decided to go it alone with their wives on Rue Michel Le Tellier.
Sébastien threw himself into a career as a wine expert in 1992 and made his first wine with his father, Pierre.
When their parents took their well-earned retirement in 2007, the two Boever brothers, Sébastien and Thomas, went their separate ways with their wives whilst continuing to work together to make their Champagnes.

Anne-Sophie left the pharmaceuticals industry to join her husband Sébastien, the wine expert in charge of the laboratory making Champagne Pierre Boever et Fils which, ten years later, was renamed A&S Boever.
When their parents took their well-earned retirement in 2007, the two Boever brothers, Sébastien and Thomas, went their separate ways with their wives whilst continuing to work together to make their Champagnes.
